Join Vancouver Coastal Health to learn ways to prepare and protect your health during heat and wildfire smoke events. By the end of the session, you will leave with a heat and smoke preparedness plan and tools to help keep family, friend, neighbours, and yourself safer over the summer.

About our facilitator: Meghan Straight is an Analyst with Vancouver Coastal Health’s Healthy Environments and Climate Change team (HECC), working to help communities prepare for climate change and extreme weather events. The HECC team focuses on physical and environmental factors that influence our health, such as city design, transportation, climate change, and extreme weather events.
