Join us for a relaxing and enjoyable bike ride around the beautiful UBC area with ‘Vancouver Cycling Without Age’.

Enjoy fresh air, lovely scenery, and great company while friendly volunteers do the pedaling from the comfort of a special trishaw bike.

Let’s share Shabbat together!

Seniors Sharing Shabbat is a once a month Shabbat meal delivery program generously supported by Herb and Barbara Silber. The vegetarian/parve meal comes with a delicious dessert and a “Shabbat bag” with candles, grape juice, and challah buns to make it easier for you to celebrate at home.

Registration is currently open, with limited availability.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions about the program, please contact Tamar Stein, Seniors Community Outreach Coordinator at 604-558-5709 or seniorsoutreach@jfsvancouver.ca.

Please note, to be eligible for this program, participants cannot be registered in another Shabbat meal program, must be age 55+, and must live in our delivery area or be able to pick the meal up from The Kitchen.

Join us for a seasonal outdoor gathering series in the beautiful Vancouver Jewish Community Garden.

Dates: June 16, July 21, August 18, September 25

Time: 10:30 AM -12:30 PM

Location: Vancouver Jewish Community Garden, Congregation Beth Israel, 989 West 28th Ave.

Each session will include:

• A light lunch
• A guided seasonal garden activity (harvesting flowers, herbs, or vegetables)
• A short navigation session with helpful information and support resources

The JFS Kitchen and Clark Drive Office will be closed for Shavuot on May 22, 2026.

JFS Food Security Programs will be closed Monday, May 18th – Friday, May 22, 2026. There will be no grocery delivery or pickup during this time. Regular JFS Grocery delivery and pickup schedule will resume during the week of May 25th.
