The earliest records of anti-Jewish prejudice dates back to antiquity. Since then, what has come to be called “antisemitism” – a word coined by self-described Jew-haters – has transformed itself to suit the times. The question is, why? In response, Dr. Jay Eidelman explores current theories about why Jew-hatred persists and how it operates in popular culture.
