Alana James Memorial Culinary Bursary Application Period
The Alana James Memorial Culinary Bursary has been generously provided by the family and friends of Mark and Alana z’l James for individuals who demonstrate financial need and commitment to the culinary arts. Bursaries will be awarded on a case-by-case method based on number and eligibility of applicants, and program costs. It is anticipated that up to $14,000 will be distributed annually.
These scholarships are open to people who meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee status.
- Planning to enroll or are already enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution that offers an accredited culinary program.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
Application Period: March 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026.
Successful applicants will be notified by June 30th, 2026.
