INVITATION STUDY: Calling All Third Female Generation of Holocaust Survivors
Understanding the Impact of the Holocaust on a survivor’s grandaughter’s identity
This is an invitation to the Third female Generation of Holocaust survivors to participate in a study which is interested in a deeper understanding of the impact of the Holocaust on the survivors’ granddaughters’ identity.
Criteria for inclusion of participants:
- The Jewish grandparents on mother’s side living in Europe between 1933 and 1945; immigrated to Canada after the war
- The grandparents were either captured in camps, were hidden or joined the partisans during the war
- Participants identify as female; age 30-50
- Participants are willing to sign the consent form
This study involves an interview that will take between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on participants’ responses and may require a follow-up phone call.
In appreciation to your participation, the researcher will make $50 donations for each participant to a preferred community agency in a Jewish or broader community. You also have an option of keeping the $50 for yourself.
