Thank you for supporting the 2018 Project Isaiah food drive!
Our community donated 4 months’ worth of provisions for the Jewish Food Bank, which will feed and support the 300 households who turn to the Jewish Food Bank each month.
Over 80 volunteers came together to help us sort the food on Sept 26, helping to unload, box and organize nearly 1,300 bags of food and toiletries. It is a huge effort and we want to thank our partners across the Jewish community who make this collection possible, as well as the countless individuals who donated and volunteered. A special thank you to Talmud Torah and Beth Israel for the use of their facilities.
About 300 households turn to the Jewish Food Bank each month. Our food bank services also include delivery to seniors and the disabled, and now extends its reach to serve people in the Tri-Cities and Richmond areas through our recently launched program, Jewish Food Link.
The Jewish Food Bank is making healthy food a priority, and you can read about the impact of your nutritious donations here. Our goal is to create a welcoming space with healthy options that meet the unique needs of our community. Here you can read Olga’s story for her experience of using the food bank for the first time.

Thank you for ensuring the most vulnerable in our community have access to healthy food.
