DESCRIPTION:The Alana James Memorial Culinary Bursary has been generously provided by the family and friends of Mark and Alana z’l James for individuals who demonstrate financial need and commitment to the culinary arts. Bursaries will be awarded on a case-by-case method based on number and eligibility of applicants, and program costs. It is anticipated that up to $14,000 will be distributed annually.\nThese scholarships are open to people who meet ALL of the following requirements:\n\nCanadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee status.\nPlanning to enroll or are already enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution that offers an accredited culinary program.\nMust demonstrate financial need.\n\nApplication Period: March 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026.\nSuccessful applicants will be notified by June 30th, 2026.\n Learn more or apply online.
